Ingredients
For Paneer Kofta:
- 250 grams paneer (cottage cheese), grated
- 2 boiled potatoes, mashed

- 2 tbsp cornflour

For Ajwaini Paneer Kofta Curry:
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger paste

- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Instructions:
- To prepare the Paneer Kofta, take a mixing bowl and add grated paneer, mashed potatoes, chopped green chillies, ginger paste, cornflour, and salt. Mix all the ingredients together to form a smooth mixture.
- Divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into round balls. Make sure there are no cracks in the balls.
- Heat oil in a kadhai or deep-frying pan. Once the oil is hot, gently slide the paneer balls into the oil and fry them on medium heat till they turn golden brown. Drain the koftas on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
